Soccer...it's that time of year again!

Caleb was thrilled to start soccer again this fall...and even more thrilled to find out he was on team HyVee again! That was his sponsor for T-Ball this spring!

This picture is a bit small....Caleb is the blue player on the right.

Throwing the ball back in!

High fives after the game!

Biking on Labor Day weekend...

We biked to Caleb's soccer field and played a little two on two!

Love Notes...

Jon and I have been putting a little note each day in Caleb's lunch box for an encouraging reminder of how proud we are of him and how much we love him.
The other day we opened the fridge to find this little note (complete with stickers) taped on Jon's iced coffee pitcher. It says..."Der Daddy, Here is a note. I love you so much. Have a gate (great) day at worke. Love, Caleb"
Maybe Caleb thought that Daddy needed a few encouraging words before work too! Can't we all use that from time to time?!

One Basket, Two Fish & Five Loaves of Barley Bread...

Caleb did a great job singing his solo at church. The song was called "One Basket, Two Fish & Five Loaves of Barely bread." He said that he was a little nervous when he started to sing but he told me that he worked through it!

Caleb enjoyed his summer of VBS and along with all the fun, he learned the Lord's Prayer and how it is a model for how we are to pray everyday. He learned that we can talk to Jesus in the same way that we talk to a friend. He is always listening!
We had lunch afterward and there was a carnival with lots of games for the kids. I created a Coconut Bowling booth & Caleb and Josh enjoyed getting their faces painted. Josh got an elephant and Caleb got a giraffe and a zebra.

Caleb sang the song with his friend Toby. The song had 4 verses and was about 3 minutes long. I was not able to post the entire song, so I edited the video to catch the first verse with Caleb singing so that I could reduce the video size.
Enjoy the video...
